Archetypes – Our Inner Warrior – Update…

Posted on February 11, 2018 at 8:14 pm by Kim O'Hanlon / 0

So, I hope you have been enjoyed spotting some warrior traits in yourself and/or others over the past week. They have many great qualities such as their ability to plan, organise and lead others, determination, practical, quick thinking; but the warrior fears weakness and may exert excessive control if they find themselves feeling threatened.  If we step into our warrior for a certain role in our life, are we able to recognise when the need to ‘let go’ presents itself. If we struggle to explain why a proposal in our job won’t work, can we see how embracing the warrior way might help us to be succinct with the facts and remove our emotional language or need to please.

The warrior is just one of the three parts we will be exploring and, of course, we can find one characteristic seems familiar to us whilst another alien.  In exploring these archetypes we can start to identify resources we have within which perhaps we didn’t realise were there and therefore hadn’t been tapping into as much as we could. Conversely perhaps we rely too much on one approach and get frustrated with others when it doesn’t work or we are misunderstood.  We all have all three of the archetypes we will be exploring, it is the balance and how they show themselves which is unique to us.

Allow yourself to regularly bring up the visual image and essence of your warrior so that you become more familiar with them, and they with you.  You might be surprised how he/she can pop into your head spontaneously when they are being active, or when they would like to be useful to you.  Happy Awareness Playing.

Namaste

Archetypes – Our Inner Warrior – Poses

Believing you can be perfect is the fatal imperfection, Believing you’re invulnerable is the ultimate vulnerability. Being a Warrior doesn’t mean winning or even succeeding….
